Weekly Info in E 111

Welcome to E 111. We are going to tour this classroom.

For starters I have asked a couple of the students what they did in this classroom. They said, "Well we started off with guidance . We did this thing where everyone had a sheet of paper and we had to write a comment on each one as we passed them around. We only got 2 minutes to write the comment down. We are going to do the rest tomorrow." Then I asked two other students, what they had for math and that stuff. They said, "For math we did some more techniques for solving a two digit by one digit. Then for homework in math we got Homework/Remembering. Also we did MDF today. Only 4 people got in. Three more then last time. Well then now I am going to talk about writing. In writing we finished the book on poetry. We also worked on DOL. We have week 3,4, and 5 due Friday. Then in science we did more things in the Dairy booklet. Yeah we did this contest to see who got the most words on a word search. If they got 10 or more they got a mint. Only 2 people got mints. The highest score was 11. " that was the end of their questioning. Now I am going to talk to these two girls up here. I asked them if they remember what they did at the end of the day. They said, "After lunch
we had MAPS testing. Then after MAPS testing we went to PE. In PE we did testing. That was pretty much it for April 28." Then after that they started to walk away. So I guess that is it for my tour.

Today in math we watched three Math Mansion videos. They were funny. Then we watched another video but I don't know what it was called. In writing we corrected our homework from last night and are now learning about poetry. Once we learn it we will be able to make our own poem. So that will be fun. In science today we corrected weekly geography and read out of a booklet on Wisconsin's farmland in the past and present. We didn't get done with it because it is really long. There is like 40 pages, but it also has games and things to do in it. When we are done with the books we get to take them home.So that is it for those things. Now they are out of the way to talk about. For specials we had music and PE. Last music time we watched our concert video. Then at the end of the day we had study hall for the last 15 minutes. Yesterday we got these slips that have a fun activity and we would choose two. There was swimming, bike trail, kickball, and tree more. We would do them all morning on the last day of school. So that will be fun, I hope. I bet most people will choose swimming, but it is a guess.

Thursday News! Extra! Extra!

Today in math our teacher was trying to show us a movie on math, but the sound wouldn't come on. So he got the library teacher and she fixed the sound. Unfortunately it was time for snack by the time that she got it working. We also had a quiz. We had to do 5 three by two x problems on a sheet of paper. No home work for math. In writing we did more things on adjectives. We had three pages in our packet for homework. We had like 10 minutes to do it then the rest that we didn't get done was homework. In science we did experimenting. We had to make the figure that was on the page. That was lesson #11. We have no homework except for weekly geography. In art today we had an accident. Kylee's pottery pocket fell on the floor and the corners broke. Then we had study hall in the classroom.

So that is another school day in the passed. TTFN

Thursday! Yippy!

Hello, today is Thursday as you already know, and tomorrow will be Friday! So let's get started. Today in math we did a class activity page. We had one problem, #6, for homework if we didn't get it done. In language today, we watched a video on caves. Then we looked and talked about caves from a book. Our teacher used ELMO to help with it. Then in science today we learned a code that workers use and we were using that today. We also worked on weekly geography. That is due tomorrow. Also tomorrow were doing more complex on the codes. On art we were making more things out of clay. They were like pockets. After art it was study hall in the classroom.

That was our day. It was normal, but tomorrow won't be. TTFN

Family Fun

It's the weekend!

Wow it is already the weekend. The days now and then go by so quickly. Don't worry, when the weekend is over our teacher will be back from Arizona. So then I can see him again. I am watching tv as usual. Sorry this one is sooo short.

Today in math we worked more on x by two numbers. We got a sheet with 30 problems of x two numbers. We should get it done by the end of the day. In writing we had a sub. She is very nice. We worked more on our Western Uplands paragraph. It is now due this Thursday. For science we had a sub also. We did an experiment with one battery holder, three wires, one battery, one light bulb, and a light bulb holder with F clips on it. So that is it for science. We went to the computer lab and worked on more things like math, reading, and alot of other things. We got alot of homework tonight. We had music twice today. Once in the morning and once in the afternoon.
The two musics were for our concert.
